Wales & England Coastal Walk

In 1984 I set off on a mission to walk around the coast of Wales and England. Not all in one go, but I always set off from the exact same place I had stopped previously. My rules were simple: keep as close to the coast as legally possible without falling in the sea and no using boats or any other form of transport to travel over water. This meant detours up beautiful estuaries where other walkers would have simply taken a short ferry hop. I finished in 2004 after walking over 3500 miles.
